March 17: Premiere of Soliloquy on a Gospel Hymn (2008) for organ by organist Shirley King in a guest artist recital at Goshen College.

May 24-June 1: Performances of Snapshots (1996) for piano and winds by the Alder Street Sextet on the Celebration Works concert series at First Presbyterian Church of Portland.

June 15-22: Performances of Devotional (2006) for cello and piano on Music08 festival at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.

2009

May 30-June 1: Premiere performances of Chehalem Sketches (2009) for piano and winds by the Alder Street Sextet at various locations in Portland, Oregon, including the ensemble’s home base at First Presbyterian Church of Portland.

October 22: Dr. Joseph Wytko performs Psalm from Sonata for saxophone, percussion and piano in a guest artist recital at Baylor University, Waco, Texas.

October 24: Faculty concert of new works at Bauman Auditorium, George Fox University. Includes premiere performance by Maria Choban of Legends for piano and electronics, as well as Chehalem Sketches and Songs Without Words for saxophone and piano.

2010

March 5: Performance by Maria Choban of Legends for piano and electronic sound at Region VIII conference of Society of Composers International (SCI); Legends was selected from among 175 works from 95 composers representing 28 states and Canada. 

September: Premiere performances in Phoenix, AZ area of Imaginary Scenes for saxophone quartet and electronics, commissioned by the Joseph Wytko Saxophone Quartet.

October: Performances by the Joseph Wytko Saxophone Quartet of Imaginary Scenes in northern Midwest: Minnesota Twin Cities, North Dakota.

2011

Spring: Performances by the Joseph Wytko Saxophone Quartet of Imaginary Scenes in Kansas and Missouri, then in Europe (planned cities: Brussels, Paris, Warsaw).
